For anyone that has had to manage submittals, you know that it's fun. You probably know that you are typically given a Spec Book, and from that you create various places to contain information that others will use on the project. Now, I say various places because always how it goes. Typically, there's a hybrid approach, physical on-site, or electronic in the cloud...or wait, which ones did we scan and upload again?
We've all been there before. Organizing all of that information is challenging and, wouldn’t you know it, so is creating all those storage locations. With Pype AutoSpec, it took about 15min to extract what I needed to create submittal items in Autodesk Build from the Spec Book. Fifteen Minutes! Now the rest of the project team can immediately start collaborating on project, and construction approval requirements. That is also the same fifteen minutes as the time spent messing with the coffee machine in the morning and chatting about the game the night before (accurate).
Jokes aside, wouldn't it be nice if you could get coffee while your submittals upload? You can- while you use the Autospec tool!
