When moving to a new place, there’s always a long list of things you must do. One important thing on this list is to update your address. This is critical because you need to make everyone aware of your new physical address, so you do not miss out on any of your mail.
That same level of importance can be said when you change your email address. This is especially true if you have a Bluebeam license since your email address is part of your BBID.
If you go through an email change, whether it be a name or domain change, you will need to update your email in your Bluebeam account by following these steps:
User Email address update process:
End Users: Users should follow the steps outlined here to update their email address for the Studio account: How to Update Your BBID Information. Please remember that it is very important to do these steps in the order that they are listed in this link. After completing those steps, users will be able to log into Bluebeam Studio and see all of their active Sessions with the new email address.
License Admins: (1) Admins must first confirm the user has updated their email address associated with their BBID. (2) After confirming, add their new email address to the Org Admin portal as if they were a new user. (3) Then remove and deactivate their previous email address from the Org Admin portal.
Note: If you have Studio Prime, no changes are needed in the Prime Portal.
End User: Users will then need to accept the license invite and use their BBID with newly updated email address and password to log in to Revu.
After logging in with your BBID, click on the Studio Icon inside Revu and log into Studio.
Make sure to keep your email address current now that you know the steps to update. Change is a part of life, but how you deal with it is just as important.
